More innovation from the beautiful minds of K2K for Trinidad Carnival 2012…
K2K is trying to challenge the norms of Carnival & are breaking some of the
rules. We are inviting potential masqueraders to go beyond just ‘playing
mas’. Instead, we are asking masqueraders to ‘become the mas’. This year it
is not about the headdress (although it is part of the costume). It is
about the make-up, the hair, the fashion… It is what we define as “the
Look”.In the words of Machel Montano – “you can’t play mas, if you fraid powder”.
Thus, we are giving our masqueraders the option to go all the way!
