Notes:  Island People Mas has been around for years.  Their mood and energy on the road is electrifying.  A good time is had by all.  Their security on the road is satisfactory but could still use some work.  It’s probably better to play as part of a group if choosing Island People Mas for your Trinidad Carnival 2012 experience.  You won’t be disappointed.

Notes: Trinidad Carnival 2012 will be their second year on the road.  Yuma did a good job of gathering together a very diverse group of masqueraders all out to have a good time.  The bar was well stocked.  Everyone was friendly.  They had a few challenges with costume quality and road management but overall it was a good experience.  YUMA costumes sell out FAST.  So keep checking their website and social media accounts for details on launch date and carnival costume registration.

Notes:  Tribe may just be one of the hardest bands to get into.  Their customer service, amenities and costume quality is incredible.  Security is the tops.  If you are a solo masquerader you have no worries as security is tight.  The vibe on the road is nice.  Tribe sells out in a blink and registration for new masqueraders is limited.  So be ready to pounce as soon as they release their registration information.
