Alright, I'm back.  After spending 10 glorious days in Trinidad for Carnival, I have finally recovered and caught up on work. Believe it or not, I have already started planning for Carnival 2013.  I have already made my makeup appointment and have seen the preliminary sketches and the base bathing suit for what may end up being one of my costumes for Trinidad Carnival 2013. But before we launch fully into planning for 2013, I'd like to share my top 5 highlights from Trinidad Carnival 2012. 1.  Crossing the Savannah stage with my BFF for the first time in over 10 years. The first and last time we played mas together was back in 1997.  We were both in Lower Six and after doing well in our CXC exam our parents agreed to let us play adult mas.  We chose Legends because Alison Hinds was on one of their music trucks.  We were big Alison Hinds fans.  Anyway, that was the last year we played mas together till he saw K2K costumes for this carnival...  And the rest is history...   2.  Meeting my fellow bloggers I bounced up with the young men behind Randomli and Lehwego at both Beach House and Sunny Side up looking very strong and manly.  I also met the lovely young lady behind Eloquence, Inc. looking fantastic in her D'Krewe costume.  Trinimummy, I missed you 🙁 And hear this, I met the always intelligent and handsome man behind the blog Massassination.  I have had a blogger crush on Mas Man since the moment I was first referred to his blog.  So to meet him at K2K costume collection and then to play mas with him on the road was CRAZY!   3.  Making new friends and meeting up with old friends Starting this blog has been such a wonderful experience.  I have met so many incredible people and reconnected with old friends.  I want to take this opportunity to big up the Oasis Crew: K.S.R. and Ajay!  Shout out to Miss Natalya, individual extraordinaire from K2K! And to those of you who saw me, took pics but did not say hi, please come and say hi next year!  I'm really a nice person, I won't bite...                       4.  Playing mas in bikini and beads with Oasis mas band AND getting my "marse" on with K2K For Trinidad Carnival 2012, I played in 2 bands: Oasis and K2K.  And let me tell you, I had a blast!  Reviews will be coming shortly.                     5.  Bucket - need I say more...
